When visiting Bydidam Farm Cottages , a guest has access to a variety of Citrusdal activities including mountain biking trails, fly fishing spots, a golf course, hiking trails, 4×4 scenic drives, canoe hire and many more – please read below for more info on each activity:

Citrusdal is a nature lover’s paradise seeing as it is situated between two mountain ranges. It is ideal for mountain biking activities and home to numerous mountain rivers for fishing. The Citrusdal valley where Bydidam farm cottages are located, is part of the bigger Cederberg Range with the farm village affording a varied collection of outdoor activities.

There is unfortunately no horse riding at Bydidam, but if horse riding is your thing, then get on a horse and come and explore our beautiful Citrusdal countryside the way it should be explored. Please contact us for more information.

We have canoes on different farm dams and rivers that can be hired, also around the Citrusdal Valley. Please book well in advance while making your accommodation booking as we have a limited supply.
